Kurtis Hawkins has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2006 as a Job Site Facilitator for Sonny Ventures. From 2008 to 2012, they worked in Sales/Marketing for MVP Baseball. In 2012, they became Regional Sales Manager for Knovation, where they achieved Employee of the Year and Top Sales Performer in 2014. In 2015, they began working for Blackboard as an Account Executive, where they were nominated for Q2 Platform Sales Executive Company Wide in 2018. In 2018, they became Regional Sales Manager, Key Accounts for Nearpod. In 2019, they took on the role of Head of Sales, North America for KAIT. Currently, they are the Director of Sales for Abre.io, helping districts solve their ed-tech headaches by bringing all their siloed data into one seamless platform.
Kurtis Hawkins received their Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts with a Minor in Business and Pre MBA Foundation from Xavier University in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's degree in Business Admin from Shasta College in 2010. Kurtis also earned an Associate's degree in Gen Ed from West Hawaii Community College in 2008. Their education history dates back to 1988 when they attended the International School of Manila.
