Miemie Retsuri currently serves as a Technical Advisor Empowerment and Social Worker at Untold, focusing on project development, management, and effective stakeholder engagement since January 2024. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant Director of Community Services at the Association for the Physically Disabled from August 2008 to November 2016, where responsibilities included managing performance indicators and ensuring compliance with policies aimed at empowering persons with disabilities. Miemie also held roles as a Social Auxiliary Worker and Social Work Department Supervisor, providing case work and educational campaigns for individuals with disabilities. Educational qualifications comprise a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of South Africa and ongoing studies toward a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Management at the University of the Witwatersrand.
