Ariel Wind, PhD, is a High School Spanish Teacher at The Abraham Joshua Heschel School since August 2021, bringing extensive instructional experience from prior roles at the University of California, Berkeley, and Washington University in St. Louis. At UC Berkeley, Ariel Wind taught over five undergraduate courses in Spanish language pedagogy and literary analysis while integrating digital learning tools and employing the Communicative Language Teaching approach. Additionally, Ariel Wind has experience in media production and communications through an internship at NPR's Latino USA, and worked as a research assistant at Stanford University focusing on human rights cases related to Salvadoran military history. Ariel Wind holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Hispanic Languages and Literatures from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from Washington University in St. Louis, alongside studies at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
