Astara Blackwood is an experienced operations leader, currently serving as the Senior Director of Operations at True since August 2023, after previously holding the role of Director of Services and Operations. At AboveBoard since October 2021, Astara has advanced through various positions, including Director of Operations and Senior Manager of Operations. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Operations Project Manager at getaroom.com and as REO Portfolio Manager at Kiavi. Astara also contributed to Carrington Holding Company, LLC as a Business Operations Supervisor overseeing a call center team, and began a career in customer service at BLB Resources, Inc. with a focus on HUD processes. Astara's early professional experience includes serving as Partnership Assistant with the US Census Bureau. Astara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and has also participated in a study abroad program at the National University of Singapore.
