Labannya Roy is a seasoned media professional with experience spanning over a decade in journalism and book reviewing. Currently serving as a News Writer at Pigeon Week since May 2022, Labannya also contributes as a Book Reviewer for both Edelweiss+ by Above the Treeline and NetGalley. Additional roles include Associate at the Indian Journalists' Association since March 2017, and prior experience as a Subeditor at The Echo of India (2015-2018), The Morning India (2014-2015), and Bhorer Barta (2012-2013). Early career experience includes desktop publishing at DAS Enterprises and a trainee journalist position at The Statesman.
