Jake Shulman is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Abnormal Security since February 2022, specializing in vendor fraud and impersonation detection. Prior experience includes roles as a Software Engineer and an Artificial Intelligence Intern at Microsoft, where responsibilities involved Bing Ads accounts and billing, as well as natural language processing. Jake led research on neuroevolution applications to the stock market as a Machine Learning Researcher at Duke University and co-founded the Duke Machine Learning and Data Science Club, significantly contributing to the growth of its membership and events. Previous internship experience at Oracle involved developing a custom natural language processing question-answering system. Jake holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Statistics and Computer Science from Duke University, completed in 2019.
