Gijs van den Hoven is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the banking and digital marketing sectors. Currently serving as Head of Developer Experience at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. since October 2013, Gijs has held multiple roles including IT Lead Mobile & Internet, Solution Architect, and Business Consultant & Product Owner, contributing to various capabilities projects within the Channels organization. Prior experience includes a position as a Business Analyst at CGI and serving as an Online Strategist at Verzameld Werk, where Gijs was responsible for digital marketing efforts. Gijs also played a key role as Chairman of the Dutch Scout Food House during the World Scout Jamboree in 2011. Earlier experience at ABN AMRO included work in internet channel development, complemented by volunteer efforts in PR and marketing for Scouting Nederland. Gijs holds a BC degree in Communications from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and a NIMA E-marketing B degree in Online Marketing from Beeckestijn Business School.
