Aleksi Palmroth is an accomplished Research and Development Engineer specializing in medical and bioplastics materials. Currently employed at Arctic Biomaterials Medical since February 2020, Aleksi focuses on developing resorbable medical-grade materials and biodegradable compounds. Prior experience includes a position as a Doctoral Student at BioMediTech Institute where research centered on wirelessly readable implantable resorbable sensors, along with extensive work on biomaterials processing and characterization. As a Course Assistant at Tampere University of Technology, Aleksi gained teaching experience in biodegradable polymers and tissue engineering. Aleksi holds a Doctor of Science in Biomaterials from Tampere University and a Master of Science in Biotechnology, with additional academic experience as an exchange student at Technische Universität Braunschweig.
