Ebrahim Sangsefidi has a diverse work experience in the field of transportation engineering. Ebrahim began their career as a Teaching Assistant at the Iran University of Science and Technology, where they taught the "Geometric Design" course. Ebrahim then worked as a Road Geometric Designer and Project Manager at S.E.S consultant company, where they contributed to various road projects, including rehabilitation and construction. During their time at S.E.S, they gained experience in traffic analysis, pavement design, and site research. Ebrahim also worked as a Railway Geometric Designer at Ettehadrah Consulting Engineers, where they were responsible for designing railroads in both challenging mountainous terrain and protected areas.

In 2015, Ebrahim joined The University of Auckland, where they held the roles of Teaching Assistant and PHD student. Ebrahim contributed to the teaching and research activities in the field of transportation engineering. Additionally, Ebrahim was selected as a Peer Reviewer for various high-ranked journals, reviewing manuscripts in pavement engineering.

Ebrahim's international work experience includes a contract job at Auckland Transport, where they collaborated with experts from both Auckland University and the industry on the Renewals Optimisation Model Functional Specifications project.

Recently, Ebrahim joined Abley as a Senior Transportation Design Engineer, bringing their expertise in transportation design to the company.

Ebrahim Sangsefidi has a diverse education history. Ebrahim began their academic journey by obtaining a Diploma in mathematics from (Kharazmi)-(Ebn-e-Yamin)-(Sama-e-3)-Salman-e-Farsi between 1990 and 2004. Ebrahim then pursued a Bachelor of Civil Engineering at Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman from 2004 to 2008. Building on their undergraduate degree, Ebrahim completed a Master of Transportation in Transportation and Highway Engineering at Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) from 2008 to 2011.

Ebrahim's educational pursuits continued when they enrolled in The University of Auckland, where they won a Doctoral Academic Leadership Initiative (DALI) certification in 2017. At the same institution, they studied Transportation and Highway Engineering and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree, which they completed in 2021.

In addition to their academic achievements, Ebrahim also obtained a certification as a Verified Peer Reviewer from Publons. The specific dates for this certification are not provided.
