Shawn Kim is a seasoned professional in quality management and engineering, currently serving as the Senior Quality Manager at Ablative Solutions since April 2019. In this role, Shawn supports production activities at contract manufacturers, manages the Supplier Management System, collaborates with R&D for new contractor qualifications, and assists the VP of Quality with various quality assurance tasks. As CEO of Modee Studios since April 2014, Shawn oversees medical device manufacturing internal audits, supplier audits in South Korea, and manages IT and semiconductor manufacturing projects. Previous experience includes roles at Edwards Lifesciences as a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer and Endologix, Inc. as a Quality Engineer, along with foundational experience at Dentium USA. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from UC Irvine.
