Jeremy Heffner

Director, Physical Sales & Digital Supply Chain at ABKCO

Jeremy Heffner has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Starting in 2007, they interned at Lionsgate before moving on to ABKCO Music, where they also completed an internship, shadowing the CEO and assisting with licensing agreements. Jeremy then gained experience as an intern at BLT Communications, editing and writing copy for movie trailers and posters. In 2014, Heffner became a club member of the American Marketing Association, participating in marketing campaigns for small businesses. Following this, they worked as a sales representative at The Car Factory, achieving the honor of Salesman of the Month twice. Jeremy then joined Universal Music Group as a Production Coordinator, overseeing the timely release of physical and digital products. In 2018, Heffner became a Product Management Consultant before transitioning to the role of Director of Metadata at ABKCO Music. Jeremy subsequently took on the role of Director of Physical and Digital Supply Chain, managing releases and relationships with manufacturers. In 2020, Heffner established their own business, Heffner's Wood, where they serve as the Owner and CEO, creating custom wood furniture. Currently, they are the Director of Physical Sales and Digital Supply Chain at ABKCO Music & Records, Inc., responsible for sales, distribution, and negotiating key deals with major partners. Overall, Heffner's experience highlights their expertise in sales, marketing, product management, and leadership roles.

Jeremy Heffner holds a Certificate in Music Business Essentials from NYU Tisch Art and Public Policy, which they obtained in the year 2020. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Psychology with a focus on Research Methodology and Quantitative Methods at the University of Colorado Boulder, where they attended from 2012 to 2015. In addition, Jeremy obtained several certifications, including Copyright Law in the Music Business from Berklee College of Music in 2022, Google Search Ads 360 Certification from Google in September 2020, and the YouTube Music Certification from YouTube in 2020.
