Buzzy Spain is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in cloud product engineering, DevOps, and simulation algorithms. Currently serving as Director of Cloud Product Engineering at Abiomed since March 2023, Buzzy previously held the position of Senior Director of Engineering in Test & DevOps at HeartFlow, Inc., where leadership encompassed a remote and hybrid engineering team focused on precision heart care technologies. With technical expertise spanning C++, Python, and AWS, Buzzy has also excelled in managing teams at Secret Level for game engine development and at CyberSource for online transaction processing infrastructure. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from Stanford University.
