Marcy Handler is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in grants management, program development, and strategic initiatives across various organizations. As the Director of Grants at Abilities First, Inc. since June 2021, Marcy has successfully secured $1.9 million in funding and designed innovative programs to enhance the agency's visibility and impact. Previous roles include serving as a self-employed grants writer, achieving significant funding for supportive housing and health services, and managing programs at THINC, Inc. focused on health equity. Marcy has also contributed to nonprofit development as Director of Administration and Grants at The Greater Newburgh Partnership and Director of Development at Jewish Family Service of Orange County NY. Marcy's career began in commercial television production, producing award-winning content, and includes leadership positions at Guardian Life, where Marcy managed operational needs for a multi-million dollar client portfolio.
