Roman Hill is an experienced professional in the field of photonics and laser technology, currently serving as the Product Manager for Laser Optics at Abicor Binzel since July 2020, where responsibilities include managing laser processing heads. Roman's prior work includes developing a measurement system for excimer laser beam characterization during a master thesis at Coherent Inc. and undertaking a bachelor thesis at II-VI High Yag focused on planning and developing an optical measuring station alongside the investigation of optical fibers. Roman holds a Master of Science in Photonics and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Engineering - Laser Technology from FH Münster, as well as a certification as an International Welding Engineer obtained from SLV Berlin Brandenburg in 2022.
