Susan S. has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Susan started their career at Household International in 1991 as a Branch Sales Manager and worked there until 2000. After that, they joined APG Federal Credit Union in 2000 as VP Lending until 2003. Later, they took on the role of Director of Sales from 2003 onwards and was also promoted to Assistant Vice President Sales in 2013.
Susan S. began their education in 2000 at the Loan Officer Workshop, where they earned a Loan Authority Certification. In 1993-1994, they attended Harford Community College and obtained a Certificate in Banking. Susan then acquired additional qualifications through various programs and institutes. In 2001, they completed the NAFCU Management Development Institute (MDI) and received a Certificate in credit union strategic planning for credit union Executives. That same year, they also attended the Credit Union National Association and obtained a Certificate in Collections and Credit Counseling School. In 2002, they earned the Sapphire Award from the Credit Union National Association, Inc. after completing the Management Enrichment Training Program. Furthermore, in 2006, they obtained the Ruby Award from the Credit Union National Association, Inc. for their participation in the Management Enrichment Training Program. Susan S. also received the Credit Union Management Award from the Credit Union National Association, Inc. in 2001. Lastly, they pursued their Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Business Management and Marketing at Harford Community College from 2012 to 2017 and received a Certificate in Business Management - Marketing from the same institution from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, in 2003, they completed the Harford Leadership Academy at Harford Community College and earned a Certificate.
