Pieter Trap is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in financial management and organizational leadership. Currently serving as President and CEO of Abel & Schafer US since July 2021, Pieter previously held various key positions at Puratos, including Vice President and General Manager for the Southeast Region and Export, where full P&L responsibility was held and a new route to market strategy was implemented. Other roles at Puratos involved responsibilities as Business Controller and Finance Manager, overseeing financial reporting and management across distribution platforms. Pieter's career began at Vandemoortele, where roles included Euro Project Manager and Group Internal Audit Manager. Pieter holds an MBA in Finance from KU Leuven and a degree in Applied Economics from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
