Hagar Rakha, M.Sc. International Relations, has a diverse range of work experience. Starting in 2004, they worked at North South Consultants Exchange for four years. From 2009 to 2015, Hagar worked at The American University in Cairo. Following this, they joined Georgetown University in 2015 and worked until 2019. In 2022, they had a short-term consultancy role at The World Bank. Currently, Hagar is the Head of Research and Knowledge at Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation, starting in 2023.
Hagar Rakha holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in European Mediterranean Studies and International Relations from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's degree (BA) in English Literature and History from the Faculty of Alsun, Ain Shams University. In addition, they have completed an Executive Master's Degree in Program and Portfolio Management from Georgetown University. The specific start and end years for each degree are not provided.
