Dana Balqar has diverse work experience in various organizations. Their most recent role is as a Project Lead for the Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair Refugee Education Fund, where they started in September 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Partners Relations Manager for The Royal Health Awareness Society from September 2020 to August 2021. Dana also served as a Marketing and Communication Manager for the Collateral Repair Project from January 2020 to August 2020. In addition, they worked as an EFQM Assessor as a freelancer for the King Abdullah II Center for Excellence from October 2016 to June 2018. Before that, they held the position of Senior Coordinator for Regional Fundraising at the King Hussein Cancer Foundation from May 2016 to April 2018. Dana began their career at the Jordan River Foundation, initially serving as an Outreach Officer from February 2010 to December 2014, and later transitioning to the role of Senior Outreach and Communication Officer from January 2015 to March 2016.
Dana Balqar completed their high school education at Asriyya Schools from 2003 to 2005. Dana then attended the University of Jordan from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree in Actuarial Science. In 2023, Dana pursued a Master's degree in Sustainable Development at the SOAS University of London, which they completed in 2025. Alongside their formal education, they obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including "The Neuroscience of Strategy and Creative Leadership" in January 2023, "Creativity at Work: A Short Course from Seth Godin" in October 2022, "Green Jobs for Sustainable Careers" in October 2022, "Leading with Purpose" in August 2022, and "Creating a Culture of Collaboration" in July 2022.
