Samad Akbar is a seasoned supply chain professional with 20 years of experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. Currently serving as Raw Material Team Leader at Abdul Hadi Abdullah Al-Qahtani & Sons Beverage Company (AQS-PEPSI) since May 2023, Samad is responsible for overseeing supply chain operations, managing inventory, and maintaining supplier relationships. Prior to this role, Samad held the position of Planning Specialist at Northern Bottling Co. (Pvt) Ltd. for 13 years, where responsibilities included production scheduling and materials management. Experience also includes quality inspection roles at Eco Pack Limited and Volvia Water, focusing on raw material testing and compliance. Samad is further enhancing professional qualifications with a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification from PIQC Institute of Quality Pakistan.
