Michael Hays is an experienced design professional with a robust background in digital design and art direction, currently serving as Design Lead at IXL Learning since January 2019. At IXL Learning, Michael manages the digital design team and provides creative leadership for the ABCya brand, overseeing various design aspects including illustrations and UI designs. Previous roles at ABCya included Art Director and Art Team Lead, where responsibilities involved managing design teams, contributing to game design, and creating educational app graphics. Michael began a career in design at Boston Productions, Inc., serving as Associate Art Director, and has held positions at several organizations including Amazing Charts and Hasbro, focusing on illustration and branding. Michael earned a BFA in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design.
