Geoff Nichol currently serves as the Head of Pre Partnered Programs at AbCellera, a position held since May 2023. Previously, Geoff Nichol held the role of Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President of Global Clinical Development at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. from November 2016 to August 2023. At Sangamo BioSciences, Geoff Nichol was the Executive Vice President of Research and Development from July 2011 to August 2023, and served as Chief Medical Officer at Ikaria from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, Geoff Nichol worked as Senior Vice President of Product Development at Medarex from September 2002 to January 2010 and was the Global Head of Project Management at Novartis from 1999 to 2002, which included a prior position at Novartis Pharma AG from 1996 to 2002. Geoff Nichol earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School and a Bachelor of Medical Science and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (BMedSc MB ChB) from the University of Otago.
