Chelcie Eller has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development. Chelcie currently holds the position of Head of SimpleStep ELISA New Product Development at Abcam since August 2022. Prior to this, they were the Team Lead for FirePlex Immunoassay New Product Development at Abcam from January 2020 to July 2022. Chelcie also served as a Senior Scientist at Abcam from May 2017 to January 2020, where they led a team in developing novel immunology targets and validating them for quality assurance.

Before joining Abcam, Chelcie worked at PPD as an Associate Research Scientist from November 2016 to April 2017 and as a Senior Scientist from March 2015 to November 2016. Chelcie also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the university from December 2008 to December 2014, where they investigated protein cancer therapy and explored the interactions between a protein drug and antigens on cancer cells.

Chelcie's career began as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from May 2007 to May 2008. During this time, they identified a new component involved in DNA repair and characterized the interactions between DNA repair proteins.

Chelcie Eller obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they attended from 2004 to 2008.
