Wendy Tai, MBA, Ph.D., currently serves as the Director of Business Development for Search & Evaluation at AbbVie, a position held since February 2021. Prior experience includes roles at Merck as Associate Director of Global Medical Affairs and Global Competitive Intelligence in Oncology from July 2018 to January 2021, and Associate Director of Medical Affairs at NanoString Technologies, Inc. from September 2016 to December 2017. Wendy Tai also worked at Celgene as a Senior Medical Science Liaison in Oncology and as a Medical Science Liaison, between August 2012 and September 2016. An Odyssey Oncology Postdoctoral Fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Center from December 2010 to August 2012, Wendy began their academic career as a Teaching Associate at Cal Poly Pomona. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Duke University, a Ph.D. in Immunology from Baylor College of Medicine, a Master of Science in Biology from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences from Purdue University.
