Varsha Dhamankar is a highly experienced professional in formulation development, currently serving as the Director of Formulation Development at Ribon Therapeutics since April 2022. Prior to this role, Varsha held various positions at notable pharmaceutical companies, including Associate Director at Sage Therapeutics and Sr. Principal Investigator at Cyclerion, where significant contributions included advancing a phase 2 poorly soluble clinical candidate to phase 3 readiness. Varsha's expertise encompasses the development and manufacturing of formulations for poorly soluble APIs, with a strong focus on optimizing drug release rates and ensuring successful technology transfer to contract manufacturing organizations. Varsha's educational background includes a PhD in Pharmaceutics from the University of Iowa and a B. Pharm. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Institute of Chemical Technology, University of Mumbai.
