Mike Hoemann is a Principal Scientist at AbbVie since July 2018, bringing over two decades of experience in drug discovery and development. Previously, Mike served as a Senior Scientist III at Abbott from November 2005 to December 2012 and held positions as a Senior Scientist at Biogen Idec and Sepracor Pharmaceuticals, contributing to small molecule drug discovery. Mike's academic background includes a Postdoctoral degree in Medicinal Chemistry from The University of Kansas, a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Michigan, and a B.S. in Chemistry from Bowling Green State University.
