Darshan Gada is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Regional Finance Director for Abbott India, the second-largest pharmaceutical company in India, since October 2013. Darshan has held various finance leadership roles within Abbott, including Director of Finance for Operations and for the acute therapy business, where responsibilities entailed strategic financial planning and analysis. Previously, Darshan contributed to the establishment of the rural healthcare arm of Abbott and implemented SAP for financial accounting. Prior experience includes serving as Finance Controller at Piramal Enterprises Limited, where significant revenue growth was achieved in the rural healthcare sector, and as an Assistant Manager at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC, focusing on audits for diversified clients. Darshan holds a Chartered Accountant degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Bachelor of Commerce from R A Podar College of Commerce & Economics.
