Kate Giscombe currently serves as the Manager of Development and Communications at Abbott House, a human services organization operating with an annual budget of approximately $70 million. Kate has held this position since December 2014, overseeing programs that support children in foster care and adults with developmental disabilities. Additionally, Kate is a Director on the board of Purchase College Alumni Association and has been involved in various roles within the nonprofit sector, including serving as the Webmaster for the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Westchester Chapter, and as an Administrative and Communications Coordinator at Forever Families Through Adoption. Kate's early professional experience includes management and marketing positions in both hospitality and publishing, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Purchase College, SUNY.
