Mila Aberten is an experienced immigration law professional currently serving as an Immigration Law Instructor at Queen's University since January 2022. With a demonstrated history in the field, Mila has been an Immigration Law Practitioner at Immigration Counsels of Canada (ICC) since October 2011, providing a wide range of immigration services. Additionally, Mila has held the role of Commissioner of Oaths for the province of British Columbia since February 2010, specializing in the attestation of affidavits and statutory declarations for immigration purposes. Previous experience includes positions as an Interpreter/Translator at Archway Community Services since 2009, a Course Lead and Immigration Law Instructor at The University of British Columbia from 2014 to 2021, and an Immigration Consultant at Western Star Immigration Inc. from 2009 to 2011. Mila holds a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics from Zytomyr State 'Ivan Franko' University and has pursued further education at institutions including The University of British Columbia and Vancouver Community College.
