Alec Silverman is an experienced Senior Research Associate at Abata Therapeutics since January 2023. Previously, Alec held positions as a Research Associate and a Cancer Immunotherapy Co-Op at Vor Biopharma, where significant contributions included performing an IND-Enabling Cytokine Independent Growth Assay. Prior roles encompass an Immunology and Cell Therapy Co-op at MiNK Therapeutics, focusing on the expansion and function of invariant natural killer T cells, as well as undergraduate research at Northeastern University's Department of Bioengineering. Alec began developing professional skills as a Lab Operations Co-op at KSQ Therapeutics, Inc. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Northeastern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering, specializing in Cell and Tissue Engineering from the same institution, along with a high school diploma from Indian Hills High School.
