Verena Casanova is a seasoned professional in the field of quality control and engineering, currently serving as Jefe de Control de Calidad at ABASTIBLE S.A. since May 2009. In this role, Verena ensures the quality and reliability of gas distribution and related equipment, leading a team of supervisors, inspectors, and laboratory analysts. Prior to this, Verena worked as Ingeniero de Proyecto at Green Ingeniería y Consultoría Ltda., involved in the conceptual and basic engineering developments for refineries, and was instrumental in coordinating studies for a major petrochemical complex project for Enap Refinerías. Verena's early experience includes a role as Ingeniero de Proyecto at Parés & Alvarez Ingenieros Asociados Ltda., focusing on process engineering for prominent clients. Verena holds a Diplomado en Gestión de la Producción from Universidad Adolfo Ibañez and a degree in Civil Chemical Engineering from Universidad de Concepción.
