David Hunt's work experience includes roles in various companies. David currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Abano Healthcare Group, a dental support organization in Australasia. Prior to this, they held positions at Wesfarmers, where they served as the GM Finance for Wesfarmers OneDigital and Head of Finance for The Workwear Group. David also worked as the Group Commercial Manager for The Workwear Group and was involved in M&A and Business Development at Wesfarmers Industrial and Safety. Before joining Wesfarmers, they worked as an Associate at Greenstone Partners Pty Limited, a corporate advisory firm. David'searlier experience includes a role as a Business Analyst at Macquarie Group and a Summer Intern in the Investment Banking Division at Citi Group. Additionally, they served as a Lieutenant in the Australian Army Reserve.

David Hunt has a varied education history. David started their studies in 2005 at the University of Tasmania, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree, majoring in Accounting and Finance. In 2008, they also received a Bachelor of Economics (B.Ec) degree (First Class Honours) from the same university, with a major in Finance & Economics. In 2007, they attended the Royal Military College Duntroon, where they completed an Officer's Commission program.

After a few years, David pursued further education in the field of finance and business administration. In 2013, they enrolled in the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association's Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Program. David then attended two different business schools in 2015 and 2016, namely: IE Business School and Singapore Management University, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Business Administration and Management.

Most recently, in 2019 and 2020, David joined the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand to pursue the Chartered Accountants Program, focusing on Accounting and Finance.
