Kris Riordan has extensive experience in state tax management and accounting, currently serving as an AARP Tax Volunteer at AARP Foundation since December 2019. Prior to this role, Kris enjoyed a successful career as a Manager of State Income Tax at United Airlines from September 2015 to March 2018, and as a Manager of State Tax at BP America from April 2002 to January 2015. Earlier positions include State Tax Supervisor at Robert Bosch and State Tax Manager at McDonald's Corporation. Kris began a career in taxation as a State Tax Accountant at Motorola. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Elmhurst University and an Associate of Science in Accounting from the College of DuPage, complemented by initial studies at Illinois State University.
