Ivan Avila is an experienced research analyst with a strong background in quantitative and qualitative research focused on financial well-being, economic mobility, and programmatic strategy. Currently employed at AARP Foundation since April 2022, Ivan has completed thirteen research projects to optimize internal programs. Previously, at Prosperity Now, ten briefs and blogs were generated under Ivan's oversight, influencing programmatic strategies and policy recommendations. Additional experience includes roles in education and mental health, such as classroom observations and psycho-social rehabilitation. Ivan holds a Master of Arts in Experimental Psychology from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Texas at Brownsville.
