David Borovay possesses extensive experience in accounting and financial management, with a career spanning over four decades. Currently serving as a Tax-Aide Volunteer at AARP Foundation since January 2019, David provides tax assistance to low-income individuals and seniors. Prior roles include Accountant at Fohrman & Fohrman, Inc., Chief Financial Officer for The Accelerated Schools, and Controller positions at Sign of the Dove and Valjean Manufacturing. David's international experience includes volunteering with the Peace Corps in Kazakhstan, supporting small businesses in transition to a free market economy. David holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Accounting from California State University, Northridge.
