Carl U. has extensive experience in tax management and compliance, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Tax Volunteer at AARP Foundation since December 2021, Carl previously contributed as a VITA Tax Volunteer for United Way of Northeast Florida from January 2018 to May 2021. Prior roles include VP Tax Director at Fidelity National Financial and Director at Liberty Mutual, where responsibilities included coordinating the preparation of complex federal returns and optimizing tax processes for real estate construction. Earlier positions involved directing tax planning at Genworth Financial, managing tax operations at GE Capital, and delivering compliance services at Ernst & Young.
