Bill Lingard currently serves as an AARP Tax Aide Volunteer since February 2023. Prior to this role, Bill Lingard retired from General Motors in March 2021 after a distinguished tenure as a Senior Manufacturing Project Engineer, where responsibilities included program leadership at the Lansing Delta Township Assembly plant, overseeing Body Shop, General Assembly, and Paint for Controls, Conveyors, and Robotics. Earlier experience includes positions as Senior Engineer at Phase Fire Systems Inc., focusing on controls engineering, and at American Fuji Seal. Bill Lingard also worked at Beckman Instruments as a Technician in the Process Controls and Instrument Group from 1980 to 1984.
