Ryan Fraser is an experienced leader in digital research infrastructure and engagement, currently serving as the Director of Digital Research at AARNet since March 2020. In this role, Ryan oversees the development and delivery of research infrastructure products, acts as the principal engagement lead with the research sector, and drives innovation and collaborations. Prior to this, Ryan held various managerial positions at CSIRO from January 2006 to March 2020, focusing on minerals data analytics and leading projects from research to commercialization. Ryan's extensive background also includes project management and software engineering roles at institutions such as Curtin University and the Lions Eye Institute. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from Murdoch University, along with additional qualifications in electrical engineering and broadcast operations.
