Tara Ballav Adhikari, PhD, is a seasoned public health professional currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aarhus University and as the Scientific Coordinator at BERTHA - Big Data Centre for Environment and Health. As the Founding Director of Nepal Health Frontiers and the Founder of NCD Watch Nepal and Healthy Lungs Nepal, Tara has made significant contributions to health initiatives in Nepal. In addition to active membership in several prestigious organizations such as the American Thoracic Society and the European Respiratory Society, Tara holds editorial responsibilities with PLOS Global Public Health. With a comprehensive academic background that includes a PhD in Public Health from Aarhus University and various degrees in public health and health activism, Tara has been instrumental in advancing health policies and practices through both practical and academic engagements since 2011.
