Robin Lu is a software engineer with extensive experience in developing and optimizing voice assistant technologies and backend systems. At Meta, Robin contributed to the voice assistant utilized by Oculus and wearable devices, focusing on platform engineering and performance optimization from July 2019 to January 2023. Prior experience includes a software engineering internship at Microsoft, where Robin designed a distributed system that significantly improved write requests efficiency, and another internship at Intentional Software Corporation, achieving major reductions in shader cache size and enhancing developer tools. Additional roles at D+H and TITUS provided substantial experience in software development, database design, and maintenance. Robin holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
