Saiteja Tallam has a diverse work experience in the field of aerodynamics and software development. Saiteja started their career in 2011 as a Manager at the Mechanical Engineering Students Association. In 2012, they took on the role of a Student and pursued a Masters in aerodynamics at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. During this time, they also worked as a Project Manager, where they developed and optimized a Finite Volume Time Domain (FVTD) solver for electromagnetic scattering predictions.

In 2013, Saiteja became the Convenor at the Students Technical Activities Body and an Aerodynamicist at IIT Bombay Racing. Here, they gained experience in managing and coordinating activities, as well as applying their skills in aerodynamics.

Since 2016, Saiteja has been working at AUS-Aarav Unmanned Systems as a Software Developer. Saiteja'sresponsibilities include developing vision-based analytics on aerial imagery for various applications such as mines and urban areas. Saiteja has also played a key role in developing a proprietary software called Skylink, which is a Ground Control System (GCS) for aerial surveying by drones.
