Derian Hughes is an Application Engineer at AAON, Inc. since March 2023. Previously, Derian served as a Sales/Applications Engineer and Sales Applications Engineer II at ClimateCraft from April 2018 to March 2023, where responsibilities included coordinating with sales representatives, engineers, and contractors to design and price custom air handling units. Derian gained hands-on technical experience as a club member of the Sooner Racing Team from August 2014 to May 2015, working with manual mills and lathes to manufacture suspension components and using SolidWorks for design tasks. Early in the career, Derian worked as an Oil Technician at Whistler's Automotive from May 2011 to April 2013, focusing on efficient oil changes and routine maintenance. Derian holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, earned between 2013 and 2017.
