Simon Johns is currently the Head of Global Sales at AALTO HAPS, where responsibilities include leading the global defence sales and business development team and defining the go-to-market strategy for high-quality persistent C4ISR services utilizing the Zephyr High Altitude Platform Station. Previously, Simon served as the Vice President of Business Development and Sales at Embraer Defence & Security, focusing on expanding the company's market presence in Europe and Africa. Prior experience includes a role as Business Development Manager at Lockheed Martin, where Simon led efforts in capturing key armoured vehicle and battle management C4I opportunities, and as Programme Manager Acquisitions at the Defence Materiel Organisation, managing complex procurement activities. Academic credentials include advanced military joint operations planning and strategy from the Joint Services Command & Staff College, and a Master's degree in Defence Studies from Cranfield University.
