Gary Tomlinson is a seasoned professional in engineering and technology management, currently serving as a Solutions Architect at AALTO HAPS since April 2023. Previously, Gary held the position of Senior Engineering Technology Manager at telent Technology Services Ltd from September 2018 to March 2023, and worked as a Solution Design Authority at Fujitsu Network Communications where responsibilities included supporting the delivery of critical systems upgrades at Heathrow. Gary's extensive career includes roles in public safety and security at Ericsson, serving as Head of Engineering for National Security at Raytheon UK, and Programme Manager for EMEA at Motorola, where major enterprise mobility projects were managed. Early career experience includes project engineering with BBC transmitter projects. Gary holds a BSc (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from UCL, earned between 1981 and 1984.
