Rachel Scott is a Recycling Program Specialist at the Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works, a position held since August 2022. Previous experience includes serving as a Lead Teacher at The Goddard School from August 2020 to August 2022 and as a Chesapeake Conservation Corp Member with the National Park Service from August 2019 to August 2020. Rachel also completed a Project WILD Internship with the Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies in the summer of 2019, worked as an Education Program Assistant for the National Aquarium’s ‘What Lives in the Harbor’ program in early 2019, and was a Fun Zone Staff member for the Frederick Keys from March 2014 to August 2018. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus on Organismal Biology and Ecology from Towson University, completed in 2019, and prior studies at Coastal Carolina University from 2015 to 2016.
