Christine DeCarlo is a seasoned professional in media and public affairs, currently serving as Senior Manager at the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) since March 2017. In this role, Christine advances the national voice and priorities of the osteopathic medical education community. Previously, in roles such as Media and Public Affairs Manager and Advocacy and Public Affairs Manager at AACOM, Christine focused on government relations, media communications, and the development of advocacy campaigns. Prior experience includes coordinating digital media initiatives for the National Center for Science and Civic Engagement and developing educational content at Assessment Technology, Incorporated. Christine began a career in education as a Science Instructor at Newfound Harbor Marine Institute. Christine holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh, supplemented by studies at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.
