Ravi Nathwani

Ravi Nathwani has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Ravi is currently working as a Founder at A5G Networks, Inc., a position they have held since April 2021. Prior to this, they founded a Stealth Mode Startup in February 2021.

Their longest tenure was at Parallel Wireless, Inc., where they started in December 2012 and stayed until February 2021. At Parallel Wireless, Ravi joined as one of the founding members of the company's India branch. Ravi played a crucial role in designing and developing the HetNet Gateway, leading both the infrastructure/platform and the Fast-path teams. The result was a high-performance, scalable, and highly available gateway solution capable of running various 2G/3G/4G application services.

Before joining Parallel Wireless, Ravi worked at Cisco Systems as a Software Engineer 4. Ravi joined the company through the Starent acquisition in September 2010 and stayed until December 2012. At Cisco, they worked on projects involving PCRF, including a configurable and flexible user interface, a Policy Rules engine, and interface with PCEF for 3G, 4G, and IMS Core. Additionally, they contributed to solving various customer network requirements through Diameter Routing.

Ravi's career began at Starent Networks in January 2001, where they worked as a Software Engineer. During their time there, they worked on various products, including EMS, VOIP Services, and IMS Core Services. Ravi also took the initiative to design and architect the InTracer product, which provided a call trace history for debugging purposes. This tool proved to be valuable not only for customers but also for internal engineering teams. Ravi left Starent Networks in August 2010.

Ravi Nathwani pursued their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University, completing the program from 1996 to 1999. Ravi then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same university, successfully completing the program from 1999 to 2001.
