Kelly Black is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental consulting and statistical analysis. Serving as President and Environmental Statistician at Neptune and Company since February 1994, Kelly focuses on enhancing environmental decision-making quality. In addition, Kelly holds the position of Chair for the ISO Technical Committee 69 on Statistical Methods and has been a Lead Assessor and Trainer for the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation since 2009. Previously, Kelly worked as an Actuary for the Air Line Pilots Association from 1989 to 1991, evaluating pilot pension plans, and as a Survey Statistician at the Smithsonian Institution from 1987 to 1989, where initial studies were developed to assess visitor and member needs. Kelly earned a Master’s degree in Statistics from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics with a focus on Economics and Sociology from Montana State University-Bozeman.
