Julia Hotmer-Drao is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in criminal justice and fraud investigation. Currently serving as a Senior Civil Investigator for the ACE Fraud Unit at the US Attorney's Office Northern District of Florida since May 2024, Julia has also worked as an Assessor for ISO/IEC 17025 Testing Laboratories with A2LA since July 2021. Previously, Julia was an ACE Fraud Investigator with Lindahl Reed Inc. from April 2023 to May 2024, focusing on fraud investigations related to healthcare, contracting, and federal funds. Julia has contributed to education as an Adjunct Instructor in the Criminal Justice Program at Bryant & Stratton College - Albany from June 2015 to April 2024. Julia's career began with the New York State Police in October 1990, culminating in a role as Technical Lieutenant and EEO Compliance Officer, following years as a Senior Investigator. Julia holds a Master's Certificate in Digital Forensic Science from Champlain College and a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice from the University at Albany.
