Erik Reisdorf

Clinical Laboratory Assessor at A2LA

Erik Reisdorf is a seasoned professional in laboratory management and public health, currently serving as Senior Manager of Diagnostic Networks at ICF since July 2021, where responsibilities include developing workplans, assessing diagnostic networks, and enhancing capacities in alignment with national action plans. Erik has also acted as a Clinical Laboratory Assessor for A2LA since April 2015, leading accreditation assessments for ISO 15189 and CLIA standards. Previously, Erik held the position of Senior Laboratory Advisor at USAID, contributing expertise in laboratory strengthening, and served as International Laboratory Consultant at APHL, training public health laboratory staff globally. Erik's early career includes a significant role as Team Lead of the Communicable Disease Division at the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene, collaborating with key public health organizations and chairing critical committees. Erik holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of Liverpool and a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
