Marcin Smarul is a seasoned network security professional with extensive experience in network engineering and support. Currently serving as a Network Security Engineer at LyondellBasell since July 2019 and as a Network Support Engineer EMEA at A. Schulman, Inc. since June 2017, Marcin has developed a strong expertise in managing network devices and implementing MPLS networks and secure tunneling technologies. Prior roles include IT Infrastructure Analyst at TE Connectivity from April 2006 to June 2017, where Marcin oversaw global Aruba and Cisco devices and optimized network operations, and IT Network/Telecom Associate, providing user support and network administration. Marcin began a career in computer science and network security at Kujawsko-Pomorska Szkoła Wyższa from October 2004 to March 2006. Educational credentials include an MSc in Computer Science from the Technical University of Łódź (2004-2006) and a BSc in Computer Science with a specialization in computer networks from the Higher School of Economy in Bydgoszcz (2001-2004).
